Mayor of Rimini
Andrea Gnassi has been leading the City of Rimini since June 2011 and has been confirmed as mayor of the city of Rimini, for the second administrative term, in 2016. He chose from the very beginning of his office to take the path of radical change. This, by creating a long-sighted and innovative strategic vision focusing over the medium and long term and fueled by substantial investments on city renovation (hardware) and by the “immaterial production” of events combining innovation and tradition (software).
He is political Delegate on Tourism and Maritime Affairs for the National Association of Italian Municipalities (ANCI) and President of “Visit Romagna”, a new organism provided for in Emilia Romagna regional law on Tourism with the aim of developing initiatives for promotion and enhancement of the territories and supporting commercial promo actions carried out by private operators.
